Rigibore are showcasing a number of innovative special boring solutions at the IMTEX exhibition in Bangalore, India. Advanced boring solutions including ActiveEdge and Smartbore are being demonstrated at stand A125 in Hall 3C.
Greg Cocks, Engineering Director from Rigibore UK and Lalit Sharma, Director of Rigibore India introduced the Rigibore product range to around 150 delegates at the “6th International Seminar on Machining Technologies”, on Wednesday 21st January. The presentation – “Interestingly Boring!” covered aspects of modern process control requirements in relation to boring tolerances and explained how investments in Smartbore and ActiveEdge could help to automatically control the process for wear compensation in boring bars. Feedback was exceptional from a knowledgeable and enthusiastic audience of some of the country’s top production engineers and company executives.
Rigibore India Private Ltd opened in Bangalore in 2013 to enable Rigibore to service and support its valued customer base in India. Customers include Tafe, John Deere, New Holland, Craftsman Automation and machine tool manufacturers including Makino, Mazak and Starrag.
Starrag are demonstrating ActiveEdge on a cylinder bore finish boring operation on their IWK5000 machine in Hall 1 for the duration of IMTEX 2015.
