PCD round tools for a differential housing component

Rigibore manufactured bespoke PCD round tools to machine three grooves in a differential housing component for a tier 2 automotive company

Project objectives were concerned with durability, repeatability & precision performance in the tooling solution. The PCD tool's wear resistance gave increased productivity and removed the risk of errors associated with manual adjustment.

Overturning tool for a transmission pump

A Rigibore ActiveEdge tool was designed and manufactured to machine a transmission pump for a 10 speed transmission housing pump

The ActiveEdge overturning tool was manufactured to allow precision manufacturing overturning the spigot on the machining centre.  Micron accurate adjustments were made using Rigibore's unique ActiveEdge technology.
