ActiveEdge Modular System
The ActiveEdge Modular System is a cost effective and flexible solution which automates boring tool adjustments with micron precision.
The system includes a standard ActiveEdge Module that connects to BT, CAT, HSK & CAPTO spindles. It comes with a custom boring bar and a standard ActiveEdge cartridge. You can also add other cartridges to machine counterbores or chamfers.
The boring bar connection has the same diameter as the standard ActiveEdge module. This lets you use various boring bars with the same back end. It’s a cost-effective option for machining multiple bores on one machine.
