ActiveEdge Modular System
The ActiveEdge MODULAR SYSTEM is a cost effective and flexible solution to automate the adjustment of your boring tool with micron accuracy.
It consists of a standard ActiveEdge Module available on BT, CAT, HSK & CAPTO spindle connections, a custom made boring bar and a standard ActiveEdge cartridge. Other cartridges can be built into the boring bar to machine counterbores or chamfers.
The boring bar connection is the same diameter as the standard ActiveEdge module which means that different designs of boring bar can be used with the same back end which is a very cost-effective option if you are machining multiple component bores on the same machine.
